Information about the Hakozaki classroom

Presentation Scheduled to be held at the Hakozaki Shrine main hall during the Hojo-e festival in September.

*Please note that the lesson dates may change due to unforeseen circumstances.
  
● Venue: Hakozaki Shrine Office (1-22-1 Hakozaki, Higashi-ku, Fukuoka City)

■    Time:    Children's section (elementary and junior high school students): 17:30 onwards (approximately 45 minutes)

General category (high school students, university students, and adults): 19:00 onwards (approximately 60 minutes)

■    Lessons:    Children's section: Chanting and dance of the Noh play "Tosen"

General category: Chanting from the Noh play "Yumi Hachiman" and a dance from the Noh play "Tosen" or "Hakozaki"

・"Utai" (singing): The vocal part of Noh. In Noh, this includes parts accompanied by melodies and parts of spoken words.The parts together are called "utai" (chanting).
- "Shimai" (closing dance): A dance performed without a mask or costume, using only a fan to showcase specific parts of the performance.
