Regarding the recommendation for the registration of "Fūshikaden" in UNESCO's "Memory of the World" program.
Thank you very much for your continued support.
The government has now announced that the international organization UNESCO will raise awareness of globally important records.
The purpose is to facilitate preservation and access. The Kanze family and the Kanze Library hold works that are registered internationally as part of the "Memory of the World" program. We have Zeami's handwritten copy of "Fūshikaden".
(Application name: The Kanze family's inherited Zeami Noh theory "Fūshikaden") is submitted to UNESCO.
I would like to report this to you here.
The decision on whether or not to register it as part of the Memory of the World will be made after review by the UNESCO International Advisory Committee. It is done.
The essence of Noh theater, passed down from the founder of the school, has been registered in the "Memory of the World" and contributes to the development of world culture. We hope to contribute to this.
